Giveaway album - take a peek!

I have finally found 5 mins to upload some photos of the album we are giving away to one of our blog subscribers. There is tons of space in this book for photos, memorabilia and journaling - each set of pages includes photo mounts, pockets and removable journaling cards/photo mounts, perfect for documenting oodles of pics! The bright cheery colourway is courtesy of a number of different BasicGrey collections which have been paired up with tons of ribbons, border stickers, flowers and trims. We have left the album very generic so it can be used for absolutely anything, what you do with it is up to you!

If you'd like the chance to win this, simply click to follow this blog on the box to the right of this page. As soon as we reach 50 followers we will draw one name to win this album, the numbers have really jumped up over the past week so it shouldn't be long now! Tell everyone you know, the faster we get there, the faster we'll have a winner! LOL!!

Take a look at these beauties!! The white and lavender sheer butterfly ribbon was in our most recent delivery of gorgeousness from May Arts and they are even better in real life! I have spent ages stroking them while uploading all the different colourways into the shop online - mmmmmm!! You can find all of the new uploads at www.totalpapercrafts.co.uk

Also in this box were reels of really lovely sheer rose ribbon in different colours, come very cool jute twine in a range of colours, chipboard mini albums in three different shapes (only £3.35 each!) and some fun flower head long pins (only 75p a pack of 30!!!!).

I have a feeling that this new stock is going to get a lot of interest - I already want a yard of every ribbon to live at my house!!

Another Circle Journal - Tracey C's

I was looking forward to doing Tracey's journal with its fab theme of 'Shoes' as I was really keen to see what everyone else has done so far. I spend most of my day in bare feet and so I don't have many really special pairs of lovelies so I thought I'd share some pics of my ultimate barefoot experience - our wedding day! I did buy special shoes for the day, some very cool flip-flops that stamped 'just married' in the samd as I walked.

I made a little pocket from patterned paper and added my journaling so that Tracey would understand about my photo choices. Of course I had to add a strip of my favourite ruffled rose trim along with some baker's twine and a charm - these things are for using and the circle journals are the ideal place to use them!!

I've noticed a steady increase in the number of people following the blog over on the right of this page and wanted to say thank you to everyone who has done so. In response to this I thought I'd give something back to my blog subscribers and so as soon as I reach 50 followers I will randomly draw one person to win a hand made mini book I have been working on - all decorated and ready to go, you just need to add your photos and journaling! If you'd like to be in with the chance to win this album simply become a blog follower, we are nearly halfway there so hopefully it shouldn't be long before I can give the mini book away - I'll post pics soon!!

Total Papercrafts scrapbook kit 2 for May

Our second kit this month is in cool, fresh shades of blue, green and yellow and hides a secret place for your journaling! This kit is sure to be popular as it includes a medium sized leaf punch that we will use to create up to 5 different effects on this single page design - 2 borders and 3 embellishments.

The kit includes cardstock, three patterned papers, a medium leaf punch, vintage book pages, 3 crystal brads and a paper template. The sample design uses a 6" x 4" and a 3" x 4" portrait photo although a single 6" x 4" landscape would also work on this page.

You will need to add some clear drying liquid adhesive (PVA or similar), a little pale blue acrylic paint and a few white flowers - ribbon and pearl bead chain are optional additions as is a butterfly punch. The white title on the sample was created from chipboard letters but these can be created from the cardstock in the kit.

The fresh, Summery feel of this kit is perfect for outdoor shots or any cool, fresh pictures - it really is an adaptable colour scheme.

Circle journal entry - Carol's

The Bank holidays played havoc with my post this past couple of weeks and I only got Carol's album a few days ago but it was worth waiting for! Her topic is 'My Favourite Things' and we were given free rein to express ourselves however we chose. I decided to put together a Top Ten of my favourites and created a flag book to give room for pictures and journaling. I love how it came out but it took a lot longer than I expected - each one of those flowers on the page above was stuck on individually and then had a button added to the centre, it took a while and that was only one page!! LOL!!

It was great fun to put together this list, Jack had a look through it tonight and he was laughing. He seemed to really enjoy it and I am really pleased with the end result which of course HAD to have a strip of rose trim included on the cover!! Hope you like it Carol x
