Total Papercrafts scrapbook kit 1 for May

Kit 1 for May is a gorgeously Summery double page designed by Tracey Osborne using the brand new Madeline range from Prima. I love everything that Tracey designs for us and this one is no exception - check out the subtle butterfly designs in the top left and bottom right corners and the fabulous pleated effect she has incorporated, just stunning!!
This page will work with a host of different types of photos and would be particularly great with feminine or outdoor themes. Tracey used four 6" x 4" portrait photos but you could easily use more or change the orientation, its such a clever design.

The kit includes; cardstock, three sheets of double sided patterned paper, a whole pack of Prima Madeline lace and ribbon trims and a set of paper butterfly masks.

To recreate this design you will need to add about a yard of matching satin ribbon (we have the exact ribbon Tracey used in the shop in limited supply - let me know if you want some!), sage green inkpad, a few matching paper flowers and some 3d foam pads. Tracey also added some embellishment to the patterned paper with a pale green pearl pen, we these due in stock very soon!

Another circle journal entry - Madeleine's

Madeleine's circle journal was themed 'Bon Voyage' and she left us free to interpret this as we wished. To be honest, it took me a while to realise whose journal it was as she hadn't put her name on it anywhere, it was only when I read a previous entry to mine that I found out who I was contributing to!!
I decided to journal about the very first holiday that my family shared together which was to Butlins in Bognor Regis. It was far from the type of holiday that I would choose now but it was fun and we were all together which is what was important and which is probably why I can remember so much about it. I had tons of fun finding vintage images from Butlins Bognor and added loads of them to my entry which made it bright and colourful. The journal itself was a bit tight for the journaling I wanted to include so I created a 'Postcard' insert. I added images and a charm to one side and was able to write to my heart's content on the other.
Completing this journal was a really lovely experience not least because my sister and I were able to reminisce about this holiday and share a few laughs! Thanks Madeleine, hope you like the entry xx

Total Papercrafts kit 2 for April

Our double page design for April uses the brand new 'Laced with Grace' line from Glitz Designs in shades of soft peachy orange, cream and a zing of teal. The sample design is very difficult to scan and/or photograph as its so dimensional - hence the mis-match in the middle of the two pages but we think you'll get the idea!! We used two 6" x 4" photos for the sample, one portraint and one landscape and this kit will work wonderfully with Spring photos, flowers, outdoor shots and loads more. You'll be really surprised by what you can put on this one. The kit includes cardstock, three double sided patterned papers, a pack of buttons, a pack of 4 different cream ribbons and a paper template plus full step-by-step instructions for the sample design. You'll need a brown inkpad and either a soft peach inkpad or paint dabber (sample uses Ranger dabber in Peach Bellini), some border punches, flower punches, leaf punches, letters for a title and 3d foam pads. If you aren't a fan of making your own flowers then you might want to go through your stash and find a selection of orange, teal and cream flowers in assorted sizes to use on the design. As an added extra we played with one of the new colours of pearl pens to create small swirls of pearls which were a fun touch but not essential. Hope you like what you see!!

Viva Decor pearl pens!

The March kits included a fab pearl pen that makes the creating perfect little pearl embellishments a breeze. These pens were so well received at club that we sold out an entire display before we could even get them onto the shop online! We have restocked with a different bright colourway which arrived today and they are gorgeous! We have added these to the shop so everyone can get a chance to play with them and at £2.99 each they won't break the bank either! You can find them at http://www.totalpapercrafts.co.uk/ right now!

Total Papercrafts scrapbook kit 1 for April

Our internet is currently down so I'm fumbling around trying to get things done and on my list today was uploading the picture of the first of our kits for April. This kit uses the new 'For the Record' line from Echo Park and we love the retro colour palette of these fab papers. We used three non standard 6" x 3" portrait photos but you could use two 6x4s if you prefer. We loved using the same photo three times - repetition is fun and anyone who knows me knows my love of threes on my designs! You'll need to add a few flowers, scraps of ribbon, 3d foam pads and a black inkpad to the kit but everything else shown is included, even the coin charms, ball chain trims and a whole sheet of border and alpha stickers. We had a phone call from our suppliers offering their apologies for failing to deliver in time for the kits to go out this week. They assure us we should have the delivery by early next week.
