Kit 1 for September

What a few days we have had! The crop classes flew out and we only have a few kits left for one class (and only because we ordered extra of that kit as we loved it so much!!) and we are waiting for the last two crop classes to be delivered from one supplier. We ordered these kits 2 months ago and they are going to the wire with these - there will be more than a few grey hairs before this week is over we think!!
Also in the same delivery is what we hoped would be the single page kit 1 for September which has been designed for nearly 3 months, so rather than run the risk of being without a kit for the Essex club this week we have decided to swap the kits around!! The double page kit is in soft tones of grey, beige, pale blue and cream. The elegant colours work really well with all sorts of photos and the design includes a slide-out journaling block, two pairs of tags for journaling and a fab mini book for extra photos.
The kit contains cardstock, 2 sheets of double sided patterned paper, a 12x12 sheet of die-cuts, a pack of flocked alphabet stickers, a strip of sticker seals and a length of narrow ribbon.
The page incorporates three 6" x 4" photos - two portrait and a landscape. The mini book has space for an extra four photos of around 4" x 3". You'll need to use a black inkpad and 3d foam pads and will need 8 or so white paper flowers and brads/crystals for the centres. The sample used a length of grey/black satin ribbon (we have this in stock for only 85p a yard) and some black crystals but these aren't essential - the layout looks great either way.

1st release of crop classes

Here we go with the kit peeks for the first six of the classes for the Kent crop day.....

Travelling BrightThis class kit is stuffed full of fantastic new products from American Crafts - enough to make two layouts and so thats exactly what we will do in the class! The kit is travel themed and would anything from city breaks, learning to drive, first car, in fact anything to do with motion or travel.

The kit contains cardstock, 8 sheets of patterned paper, 5 cardstock photo mounts, a sheet of Thickers foam alphabet stickers, a pack of 3 ribbons, a pack of 3 adhesive badges, a sheet of travel themed stickers and a card tag template.

In a SwirlIn this class you will combine cool toned papers with a 12x12 sheet of die-cut chipboard swirls to create a stunning single page design with lots of different techniques for you to play with!

The kit includes: cardstock, 3 sheets of patterned paper, a 12x12 sheet of chipboard swirls, acetate sheet, a pack of adhesive crystals, a length of pleated satin ribbon, double sided rub-on title sheet and Martha Stewart flock (not shown).

The kit contains: cardstock, three sheets of double sided patterned paper, a pack of matching rub-ons, flowers and lace.

Not so Shabby Chic

The new line of pretty papers from Girls Paperie was so popular at our last crop that we decided to give some of the other products a whirl this time - they are just so scrumptious!! Claire B has designed a gorgeous shabby chic page using all of the deliciousness in this fab kit!

The kit contains: cardstock, 3 sheets of double sided paper, a whole pack of die-cuts and a whole pack of matching printed ribbons.

Back to BasicsThe office themed 'Basics' line from Basic Grey is the starting point for this great class from Claire F. Basic manila, kraft and black are given a lift with a kick of red for a page that is anything but basic!

The kit contains, cardstock, three sheets of patterned paper, a sheet of border stickers, a sheet of journaling/title/embellishment stickers and a length of bobble trim.

Back to Nature

In this class by Claire B you'll combine natural tones of green, cream and brown with a fab technique to make your own flowers!

Get ready to go shopping!!

After a nail biting few weeks we are finally able to put the first of the Kent crop day classes on sale tomorrow evening. Its been more than a bit fraught as our deliveries have been hit by huge delays following the recent CHA trade show and our parcels enjoyed a longer usual holiday in the customs hall!! The first six classes are complete and so we will release them tomorrow evening at 10pm.
The class details and pics of the contents will be on here before the classes go live so you will be able to see the colours and styles of the kits in order to help you choose what you want. As soon as the last 2 classes are complete we will release those right away, there are just a couple of items missing and they are coming from one supplier so we hope to have them very soon.
The classes always seem to sell out extremely quickly so we suggest that you are prompt to avoid being disappointed.
There are a very limited number of places available for the crop day on Sunday 5th September so if you like what you see as far as the classes go, there's still time to book yourself in!

Kit 2 for August

After a bit of stress and moving around of planned kits following delayed deliveries we finally have our kit 2 for August ready to roll and what a beauty it is!! We are totally in love with Websters Pages products, they are absolutely stunning and to quote Claire F, you could almost throw them down on your table and they design themselves. We have three gorgeous double sided papers in this kit and have matched them up with the most divine laser cut filigree chipboard gates that can be altered in a myriad of ways. The theme of the page is "Life's Portrait" and the design uses a single square photo about 4" x 4" - perfect for a range of different photos including those older square format pics from the 60s and 70s!
The kit includes; cardstock, 3 double sided patterned papers, chipboard gates, black lace, a crystal brad and a pack of black crystal clusters. You'll need to use a black inkpad and a border punch and add few white/cream paper flowers, some brads or crystals for your flower centres and a short piece of ribbon from your stash.
We will have a technique video here very soon showing how to create a vintage metal effect on your gates - watch this space!!
