Our first kit for June is in muted creams, green and dusty pink - very soft and perfect for vintage or soft modern photos. One of the papers has fab branches on it so of course they just had to be cut out!! Our technique for this month will have you making the gorgeously cute fabric yo-yo mini flowers. They are super easy to make and add a soft yet pretty touch to your projects.
This design uses a landscape photo and you could opt for either 6" x 4" or 7" x 5" (or even a couple of smaller pics if you prefer!). You'll need brown and green inkpads, a border punch, a bone folder/scorer, 3d foam pads, some brads for your flower centres and some scraps of ribbon and lace from your stash - we do have the same ribbon and lace used on the sample in the shop and sell them in 1/2 metres rather than the full metre as its a bit cheaper! The sample also added a ticket and bird shape cut from the off-cut of the patterned paper, if you have a ticket and a bird template you might want to dig them out! You'll need a needle and thread if you plan to make the yo-yo flowers!!
The kit contains; cardstock, 3 sheets of double sided patterned papers, a whole pack of AC Thickers alphabet stickers and fabric pieces.
The remaining two crop classes will go on sale tomorrow evening at 7pm. The delay has been due to the entire paper line Claire F had designed with being discontinued!! She had put together a stunning class and at the last minute we were told we couldn't get any of it! Her second class took its own sweet time to make its way over from the US but its finally arrived. These 2 classes are drop dead gorgeous and we expect these will fly out so PLEASE be prompt if you want to nab a place in each of these classes. We will upload pics of the class contents tomorrow morning but to whet your appetite we can say "Websters Pages" and "Girls Paperie" - no more needs to said!! Just fab, fab, fab!!!!!
On Wednesday we'll start uploading sneak peeks of the class projects together with material/tool lists and photo requirements so you can start to get organised. Not long to go now!!

Kit #2 for May
Here we go with our kit 2 for May and we finally have something that you can use for the men in your life! We chose the stunning new Venice line from 7gypsies with its shades of brown, soft orange and dusty blue and couldn't resist the gorgeous matching patterned chipboard alphabet!
The kit includes cardstock, 3 double sided patterned papers, a pack of chipboars alphabet and numbers and a pack of matching buttons. We have added paper templates for the swirls used on the sample design and all you'll need to add is a couple of tags made from card from your stash with a bit of string tied through the top. Everything was inked using Distress Ink in Brushed Corduroy and the punched border across the page used a notebook edge punch. This kit would work really well with heritage photos, just use a pretty vintage edge punch in place of the notebook or even add a length of lace and a couple of flowers for a more feminine touch. The spiral flowers made using this month's technique look great on this page too!!

Kit 1 for May
Our first kit for May has a hand made theme with a sewing pattern 12x12 overlay transparency and a lovely pack of decorative pins. Its certainly enough to get you searching through your photos for those pics of home made dresses, hand-knitted cardigans or anything else that has been crafted by hand!
The kit includes three double sided patterned papers in soft pastel shades which are perfect for this time of year and even better for the fab spiral flowers we have as our technique this month (technique video coming very soon!). We added a couple of scraps of ribbon and a paper tape measure from a well-known Scandinavian flat-pack furniture store together with a Scenic Route chipboard circle and some Thickers alphabet stickers for the title.

You'll need pink, blue and green ink pads for this one - the sample used Distress Inks in Milled Lavender, Peeled Paint and Weathered Wood. Grab a handful of 3d foam pads and a black pen for some faux stitching and you are good to go!!
