We are late!

We have to apologise for being so late with the kits this month but that blooming volcano has played havoc with our deliveries!! Despite having specially ordered the chipboard alphabets for one of the kits for this month in plenty of time we (like many) were caught out by the Icelandic volcanic grounding all flights. We decided to wait a bit longer to see if we could get them but as the end of the month loomed we thought it better to send them without than not at all. There is a little note in the kit letting everyone know that we'll add them to the kits for next month but you can be getting on with the rest of the kits in the meantime - and there's a fair bit of fiddly cutting out to keep you busy!!

Karen passes on her thanks for all the kind messages wishing her well, she is still in a lot of pain and not able to do very much at all - even walking can be a struggle for her some days but those of you who know her will know that Karen attacks each day with a smile despite everything she is dealing with. She is due to go back to hospital very soon for another proceedure so in the meantime she has to take things very easy. Your messages have been a huge lift to her spirits and she is very grateful. In the meantime everyone here is supporting her and keeping things running as smoothly as possible.

Kit 2 for April

The second kit for April is fresh and full of the joys of Spring in shades of blue, cream, pink, yellow and green. The sample uses two 6" x 4" photos, one portrait and one landscape. The fun colours, pinwheels and bunting make this kit perfect for bright and cheery photos full of colour and freshness.
To complete the sample design you'll need a selection of ink pads in blue, green, pink and peach - the sample used Colorbox chalk inkpads in Prussian Blue, Peach Pastel, Olive Pastel, Pink Pastel. We have added three small white flowers to the kit together with some chipboard circles from the Scenic Route 'Life is Good' set (only £1.99 in the shop online). You'll need a corner rounder and a few small brads for the centres of the pinwheels and flowers.
The kit includes; 4 sheets of cardstock, 3 double sided patterned papers, a 12x12 sheet of die-cut tags and titles and a whole pack of 5 ribbons.
We will shortly be uploading a new technique video for the pinwheels and bunting - watch this space!

Kit #1 for April

We kick off April with a gorgeous floral single page kit that is soft and elegant. The vintage floral patterned papers in the kit are matched with a Prima vine and a whole pack of brand spanking new My Mind's Eye Lush chipboard alphabet. There's a fair bit of cutting out but these papers cry out for it! The pink ribbon and pearls have been added to the kit but you could just as easily add a border of pleated paper and draw small dots to create the same effect. If you really want the ribbon and pearls both are available through the shop at www.totalpapercrafts.co.uk The key charm was also added to the kit, look out a charm from your stash or perhaps you have some memorabilia relevant to your photos?

The kit contains; cardstock, three patterned papers, Prima floral vine and a whole pack of MME Lush adhesive alphabet.

You'll also need a creamy brown inkpad, 3d foam pads, a corner punch, a 1.5" circle punch and a large circle template (a dinner plate would be perfect) - adhesive pearls and a length of ribbon are optional. The two photos on the sample page are approximately 4" x 4" square and although the sample features Melissa, this page would work with a whole host of different themes including vintage, wedding, Spring flowers, Easter and lots more.
