On Monday we received an urgent phone call from Jack's former German language teacher asking if we could provide accomodation for an exchange student after a family pulled out at the last minute. Apparently we received such great feedback as a host family last year that he kept us on the books 'just in case'!!So, yesterday afternoon we collected our exchange student - a very lovely young lady who speaks really good English. Jack seems to get along with her (of course it helps that she is drop dead gorgeous!!!) and they already seem really comfortable in each other's company so hopefully that will continue.
Its a lovely change of pace to have another young person in the house and its something else to focus on in the countdown to our wedding (only 5weeks to go now!!!!). I'm really looking forward seeing what the next 10 days bring!
